Mark and the team at northshore cafe are fantastic. If you come for breakfast try the eggs Benedict and if your in for lunch try the winter set menu there are some great dishes. Always plenty of wine with an amazing view of the Brisbane river. Still one of Brisbane&#39;s little secret cafes

Sono Japanese Restaurant Portside Wharf located in 39 Hercules St, Hamilton | Level 1, Building 7, Portside Wharf, Brisbane, Queensland 4007, Australia, we had a very pleasant meal at this restaurant. We thought it was definitely worth the money because we felt everything here was very in line with our taste. The sake here is delicious! The sashimi here is the best I have ever eaten! I didn&rsquo;t really like the spicy dishes but it was just a matter of my personal taste and not what the food itself was. The staff at this restaurant were very lovely and our experience was great. The cocktails were great too! This is the best restaurant I&rsquo;ve ever been to!

Enjoyable night!Second time for dinner, the muscles are to die for...... chicken was just as good! Topped off with an Italian glass of Pinot Gris....

Family meal with 19 people was excellent. Special thanks to Bobbie for arranging the changing numbers in the day prior - bent over backwards. And to Grace for being thoughtful and helpful with the birthday celebration. Food was excellent and well priced and service exceptional. Will return.

This is a special chocolate bread, the chocolate inside can be praised to make the best, but this thing is too high in calories, so can not eat more, locals buy this directly as lunch.

Came for a late lunch on Sunday and was really impressed with the food and the service. The young male waiter that served us was fabulous, attentive but not overbearing. Both our mains and desserts were high quality and the meals were served promptly. The first glass of wine ordered tasted off but it was quickly replaced with an apology and a check to ensure the new glass was satisfactory. Overall really happy. We&#39;ll be back

Amazing mealsWe had dinner after the movies , so conveniently located to each other at Portside. We had booked for 8pm but arrived and 7.30pm and there were very accommodating and found us a table right away. The menu was really interesting , however the meal I chose was unavailable :-( but he substitute meal was absolutely delicious, so I will just have to return the try the other one :-) The waitress was very professional and friendly.A really lovely meal.

I had walked from New Farm to Northshore Riverside Cafe and decided I deserved a late breakfast rather than just a coffee. Cafe has a wonderful outlook over the Brisbane River and the cafe itself is bright and airy even if the all white interior is a little clinical. Cafe was not busy at that time of the morning so service was quick and friendly. What I wanted to order for breakfast was not 100% available but I was offered acceptable alternatives. Both my coffee and breakfast arrived promptly and were both enjoyable and well presented. Newspapers were available so was able to catch up with the news. Price was reasonable then, rather than face a long walk home, I took the very short walk from the cafe to the CityCat Terminal and enjoyed a boat ride home.

Have been to this rather stunning waterfront view caf&eacute;, twice now, First time - pretty good... Second time - very inconsistent! On both occasions greeted warmly by a lovely guy with a warm smile and gentle manner...unfortunately the wait service went south from there...the girl taking the order was polite enough, but how much she actually heard or retained is questionable... ...possibly the staff may need better training in Active Listening??.... the menu is a bit limited and confusing with mainly breakfast options and very few reasonably priced Lunch items! Recommend that a few Breakfast choices could and should be offered as Lunch items to expand this area! As the caf&eacute; close at approx. 3.00 p.m. it would definitely make life easier just to continue some breakfast items thru til lunch instead of some of the rather OTT priced choices in the lunch menu?! The Pumpkin Soup was very tasty I was told, by my friend, and I should have chosen that also, but , !!! I ordered fish on both the occasions I was there. The first visit, , the Salmon was very pleasant and the salad accompaniment tasty if not that plentiful.. Overpriced though at $27.00 ??! Coffee is excellent! .On the second visit I chose the Barramundi,, Fish was tasty and cooked well but Skin, although Crisp enough was Incredibly Salty! And although I should have returned the rest of the dish to the kitchen, due to the Stewed Soggy and Overly Salty Soy Dressing, I didn&#39;t.. my mistake,, but by then I had tried to uncover the tofu and Non existent oyster mushrooms in the vegetables on the plate, so.. all one could do was to keep the fish away from the overpowering and just warm sauce and just stick to eating that?! Not a very pleasant dish for the Exorbitant $28.50 paid! Dessert was Small Scrumptious and again very dear at $8.00 for a small tartlet with canned cream on the side! And I had requested Ice Cream, Instead of cream, even at $4,00 a pop, but, again, that did Not come with the dessert,,,, , so in the end I
